Here are the top three stories today in Buckhead:
- The Atlanta Police Department reported a body was found in a creek on Brookdale Drive in Buckhead. The department taped off the area while recovering the body. As of Wednesday, the body has not yet been identified but it is reportedly in the early stages of decomposition. (FOX 5 Atlanta)
- Buckhead has a new police precinct. The Atlanta Police Department Chief, Atlanta Mayor, and the Georgia Governor gathered in Buckhead on Wednesday to celebrate the precinct's grand opening. The Buckhead Village Precinct is located in One Buckhead Plaza. (CBS 46 News)
- The project for a half-mile-long park in Central Buckhead is progressing. The concept called HUB404 will cap Ga. 400 with the park. The newly hired executive fundraising director will be leading the project's effort in raising $270 million. The project will include various green spaces, plazas, and public amenities for events.
