BOLD Infrastructure Act is Signed into Law
BOLD Infrastructure revolutionizes care for patients affected by Alzheimer's

The Alzheimerβs Association estimates there are more than five million Americans living with Alzheimerβs disease and more than 16 million Alzheimerβs caregivers. As an Alzheimerβs advocate, it is my honor to represent them.
Congress just passed the Building Our Largest Dementia (BOLD) Infrastructure for Alzheimerβs Act with a strong bipartisan vote, and I want to thank Representative Barry Loudermilk for championing this meaningful legislation. The BOLD Infrastructure for Alzheimerβs Act will allow effective Alzheimerβs public health interventions to be implemented across the country. Both of my parents suffered from Alzheimerβs and required full time care for many years.
Every 65 seconds someone develops Alzheimerβs disease - which is why Congress must remain committed to action on this devastating disease. Passage of the BOLD Infrastructure for Alzheimerβs Act underscores how elected officials are working together to address Alzheimerβs as a public health crisis - not just from a funding standpoint, but also from a caregiver standpoint.
