1st Annual Stache Dash

South of the border races in north of Atlanta on Cinco de Mayo

Approximately 1300 Atlantans started off their Cinco de Mayo in the mañana hour with a little cardio at the 1st annual Stache Dash hosted by One Love Generation. This is a race where participants with the largest sombrero and mustache receive more recognition than the first to cross the finish line. The 5K run with a south of the border theme is more of a creative celebration than a competition benefitting One Love's initiative of mentoring youth through the arts. The run rounded the Buckhead Forest community, starting and finishing appropriately at Tin Lizzy’s Cantina, where participants were greeted with refreshment in the form of cerveza and margarita’s.
