Caring for Carrie- Kidney Awareness Events in the Atlanta

Hi. I'm Sherri. Kidney Advocate. Nearly 6 1/2 years ago, my daughter, Carrie, had a Nephrectomy (kidney removal) at only four months old. However, she'll be celebrating her 7th birthday in May. Hooray. So, my purpose and passion, is promoting Kidney Awareness.

In our journey of Kidney Disease, it's evolved from being very hurtful, healing and now helpful to others, with sharing our story. As a Christian, my strength and solace, is through my Faith.

Here's a few events that I wanted to share that promote Kidney Awareness.

Events:

5/19- NKF 5 Walk, Tuner's Field, in Atlanta. (Our Caring for Carrie Team, will be walking on Saturday, May 19th, we welcome anyone to walk with us.)

6/23-3rd Carrie Charity Kidney Bowl, Fun-Time Bowl in Atlanta, 3285 Buford Highway, Atlanta, GA 30329. http://patch.com/E-lJrt
