{Dining Out} Style Files

This week's Style Files celebrates the Atlanta dining scene by pairing fashion with restaurants. After all, we want to look good while we eat, right?

There’s always a new “it” restaurant that everyone in Atlanta is talking about. Right now, it’s The Optimist. The beach-inspired hotspot has a big bar and surfer chic vibe. There’s also buzz about Watershed, which recently relocated from Decatur to South Buckhead and is dedicating Wednesday nights to fried chicken. And while it’s not new, Holeman & Finch still has the most sought-after barstool in town.

Watershed is all about upscale southern fare, and what goes better with that than really sexy white jeans? Tootsie’s is now carrying DL1961 jeans, which launched in New York City with a mission to create "the perfect fitting jeans."  Celebrities from Gabrielle Union to Selena Gomez have been seen rocking DL1961 jeans.

Whether you’re sharing a platter of oysters or refusing to share the lobster roll at The Optimist, you want to look casual and chic. We recommend the Ramona LaRue Tara maxi in this summer’s hottest pattern—tribal. Head over to Swank; Emily just got this dress in this week.

For H&F, you’ll likely be standing up and stalking a barstool. So you’ll need shoes that are both comfortable and terribly stylish. The Regina flats by Frye are super comfortable, but the pointed toe is dressier and elongates the leg for the sexy factor you are looking for.  At Pella you can find these in just the right color to complete your H&F look.
