Group of North Atlanta Parents Rally Outside of the School
Stay up to date on the current situation at North Atlanta High School.
A group of very concerned parents gathered outside of North Atlanta High School, in the tennis court parking lot, early this afternoon for the first of two rallies that are taking place at the school today. Media outlets including Fox 5, Channel 2, CBS Atlanta and 11 Alive were present and ready to hear what the parents had to say.
These rallies were organized to protest against APS' sudden decision to fire interim principal Mark Mygrant, and to relocate the entire administrative staff including John Denine, Reginald Colbert, Laura Brazil, Mona Fairley-Nelson and Melissa Geautreaux, all of which were replaced by interim administrators who were hired by interim superintendent Errol Davis.
Parents showed their support of North Atlanta and the poorly treated administration by passionately chanting "Support our school, we want answers!"

APS' interim superintendent plans to meet with parents, students and other stakeholders tonight at 6 pm in the North Atlanta Gymnasium (the meeting has been moved from the theater to the gym). Students and Parents will be gathering outside of the gym starting at 4:30 for another rally before the meeting begins.
