{Lace} Style Files

We can't get enough of this week's perfect Atlanta fall weather. It's (finally!) time to break out the leather, tweed, corduroy — and lace.

We can’t get enough of this week’s perfect Atlanta fall weather. It’s (finally!) time to break out the leather, tweed, corduroy — and lace. That’s right, lace is one trend that makes the transition from summer to fall this year.

If you’re looking to get your lace fix with a super sexy dress, head to Swank. This Alexis Franziska long crochet dress is a blank slate of black lace. Pair it with a statement necklace or structured blazer or add a splash of neon with a patent belt.

If your style is more “girl next door,” check out Tootsie’s. The BCBG MAXAZRIA collection is full of lace dresses for the fall. Our favorite has to be the Khloe cocktail dress in Turkish rose. It has a feminine, floral, lace overlay with a contrasting nude lining and a keyhole back. To add a little extra edge, pair it with python stilettos.

Of course, the first place that comes to mind in Atlanta when you mention lace — is Cosabella. The fall line debuted last week on the runway at Fashion’s Night Out. This Never Say Never Foxie Chemise was a showstopper. It’s not only sexy lingerie, it can also be worn as loungewear and used as a shaper. Like all Cosabella lace, this piece is made of ultra-soft, fine Italian lace.

Want to know a little secret? Lace will be around through spring 2013. This week at New York Fashion Week, lace was everywhere you looked, from Marchesa to Michael Kors. We’ll see pastel and sherbet hues along with back and white lace — so stock up!
