Game 7- North Atlanta Warriors v. Carver Panthers

The Warriors could get nothing going in the top of first. Austin Hedrick started and struck out the first Panther batter. Wells King caught a line drive and Matthew Church a fly ball to end the inning.

The second inning brought the same result as the first for both teams. King led off the third with a base on balls and moved to 2B on a passed ball and stole 3B. Jackson Echols singled, scoring King and giving the Warriors the lead 1 to 0. Hedrick had another strike out and Harrison made two excellent plays at SS to keep the Panthers shutout through three.

In the fourth, the Panther pitcher could not locate and John Livaditis, Campbell Toye, King and Hedrick all walked. Livaditis and Toye scored to make it 3 to 1. The Panthers got a couple on base, but Hedrick settled in and ended the threat with some great pitching.

 

Echols, McClure and Livaditis walked, but the Warriors were only able to score Echols on a passed ball bringing to score to 4 to 1. The Panthers were shut down in the bottom of the 5th with a trio of nice plays by McClure and Toye.

William Makepeace singled and Hugh Fitzgibbons walked, but the Warriors were not able to capitalize in the top of the 6th. Will Johnson made a perfect throw to catch a Panther runner at 2B. Echols made a nifty back hand play at 1B and Hedrick added another strike out to keep the score 4 to 1.

 

The top of the 7th was led off by Johnson who doubled, followed by McClure who singled. Livaditis was hit by a pitch. Johnson scored on an RBI by Toye. King doubled to right center knocking in McClure and Livaditis. Devin Walden doubled to score King and make it 8 to 1. Hedrick finished off the Panthers with a couple of pop ups and a slow roller that he took himself.
