The Mays Raiders jumped out to an early lead, 1 to 0, in the first with a couple of hits off always reliable, Austin Hedrick. He settled in and coaxed a popup to Church, a ground ball to Wells King and struck out one. King singled to lead off the bottom of the frame. Will Johnson likewise singled and Harrison McClure walked. Unfortunately, a strike out and double play quickly ended any threat.

Hedrick took two himself and Johnston made the first of several terrific plays at 3B, but not before the Raiders put another run on the board. Nothing doing for the Warriors offensively in the second.

Popups to Church and Jackson Echols and another nice stab at 3B by Johnston ended any threat by the Raiders in the 3rd. The Warriors offense really got going in the bottom of the frame with a leadoff walk to King and a single for Will Johnson. Echols singled scoring King and Johnson. Johnston did it with the bat also, singling and setting up Church for a 3 run blast to LF. Score 5 to 2.

The defense continued its good work with nice plays at 3B and 2B by Johnston and King. Hedrick fielded a bunt and Toye made a nice pick at 1B in the top of the 4th. The Warriors came out with a double by Johnson, who was pinch run for by Joey Calcagno, recently called up to Varsity because of an injury to OF, John Livaditis.  A double by McClure scored Calcagno easily from 2B. McClure and Echols aggressively moved around the bases and scored. Toye walked and showed some good speed, stealing 2B. Johnston and Church walked and Brandon was hit by pitch to bring the score to 10 to 2.

Johnson picked off a runner at 2B, Johnston caught a pop up in foul territory and Hedrick fielded one himself to shut down the Raiders, but not before they picked up one more run to make it 10 to 3. The Warriors could get nothing going in the bottom of the 5th.

Neither side could generate any offense in the 6th. Hedrick was done and Toye closed the game inducing fly balls to Devin Walden, McClure and Echols. Final 10 to 3.
