Neither team could muster much offense in the first or second inning. Defensively, Toye picked off his first Tiger base runner and Jake Johnston caught a fly ball and doubled up a Tiger on 2B. Offensively, Toye accounted for our first and only hit in the first two frames.

In the third, King struck out the first Tiger and Toye picked off his second. Will Johnson made a nice catch to end the Tiger’s hopes of getting something started and started our half of the inning with a single and stolen base. Harrison McClure singled to score Johnson and make it 1 to 0.

Johnson and Matthew Church caught fly balls and Toye picked off his third Tiger runner in the top of the frame. Toye doubled and pinch runner Hugh Fitzgibbons scored on Church’s double to make it 2 to 0.

McClure made a couple of put outs and King fanned another to keep the Tigers off the board. Doubles by McClure, Echols, Toye and Church, who scored on an errant throw to RF made it 6 to 0.

King got three fly ball outs to Devin Walden and Brandon Ector (2) in the sixth. The Warriors could get nothing going in the bottom of the inning.

The last chance for the Tigers was snuffed out by a ground out to McClure, pop up to Johnson and ground out to Johnston. Final 6 to 0.
