A senior at The Galloway School was chosen to deliver the "I Have a Dream" speech at the annual Martin Luther King Jr. commemorative service at historic Ebenezer Baptist Church.

Amanda Kirsch, a senior at The Galloway School, was one of 10 Atlanta-area high school and college age students chosen to deliver the "I Have a Dream" speech on its 50th anniversary at the annual Martin Luther King Jr. commemorative service at historic Ebenezer Baptist Church.

She was nominated by The Temple and, in order to be selected, she went through an interview on the life and legacy of Dr. King, as well as an audition. Amanda delivered the opening paragraphs of the speech, which was televised on FOX 5, on Jan. 21.
