Sutton Boys Lacrosse Wins Middle School Championship
Sutton Middle School boys lacrosse beat Whitfield Academy 11-5 to capture the Atlanta Middle School Championships
In the third year as a team, the Sutton Cougar boy’s lacrosse team won the 2013 Atlanta Middle School Championship held at Whitefield Academy on Saturday. The Cougars went into the tournament the number one seed after finishing the year with a 15 – 1 record. They beat Mt. Paran 7-5 to advance to the final game where they bested Whitefield Academy 11-5.
Goals and assists were made by Zeke Day, James Feiber, Damian Hinton, Ryan Hofstetter, Tripp Koenig, Sean McLeod, Alex Mesa, Mick Neel, Brenton Reddick, and Bradley Reeves. Defense was led by goalie Sterling Spiegel and defensemen Sean McLeod, Sam Rodman and Patrick Wilson. Congrats to every member of the Sutton Cougar team!
