The Warriors shut out Fellowship Christian 4 to 0

Game #3- North Atlanta Warriors v. Fellowship Christian Paladins

 The Warriors shut out Fellowship Christian 4 to 0 on strong pitching performance by Harrison McClure and Campbell Toye.

 McClure struck out two and Jake Johnston made a nice play in the field in the top of the first to shut down the Paladins.  McClure helped himself out with a single off the fence in the bottom of the first. Pinch runner, Devin Walden, stole second and scored on a double by John Livaditis.

 McClure struck out one , picked off one and Wells King at SS threw out another in the 2nd. The Warriors were not able to capitalize on a Jackson Echols double in the bottom of the inning keeping the score at 1 to 0.

 The Warrior defense continued the shutout in the third with a strike out throw out by Will Johnson to King at 2B. Hugh Fitzgibbons made a good catch in LF to end the inning. Fitz was the man of the moment with a double in the bottom of the 3rd. He scored on a sacrifice by King to make the score 2 to 0.

 The 4th inning was more of the same with Fitz catching another fly ball in LF and a nice play by Brandon Ector at 2B. McClure pitched himself out of a little jam and the Paladins were set down again.

North Atlanta could get nothing going in the 4th or 5th innings. McClure was done after 5 scoreless innings. Toye pitched very well in the 6th with 2 Ks and King made a tough play to his left and throw to Echols at 1B.

  The Warrior offense picked up in the 6th with a walk by King who advanced on an infield single by McClure. Livaditis was intentionally walked to load the bases. Toye walked as did Echols. King and Livaditis scored on past balls to make it 4 to 0.

 McClure made the first put out of the inning and Toye continued his dominance with 2 more strike outs in the 7th to finish it.
