Buc Shuttle Routes to Be Reduced

The Buckhead Community Improvement District will begin restricting shuttle rides in early July.

---

The Buckhead Community Improvement District (CID) has announced plans to cut down on the routes serviced by the Buc shuttle, the commuter shuttle that provides access to the Buckhead MARTA station.

Buckhead CID Director Jim Durrett announced that starting July 6, the shuttle will only stop at office buildings in the Piedmont Corridor, abandoning routes along Peachtree Road. The reduction is due to a loss of federal funding and the growing public transit presence in the Buckhead area, BuckheadView reports.

Durrett told BuckheadView that the route reduction will decrease wait times to as low as 12 minutes for the Piedmont Corridor.
