Buckhead Atlanta Development Opening Sept. 18

Construction crews began planting greenery in advance of the grand opening of the multi-million dollar mixed-use project.

Workers are putting the final touches on the long-awaited Buckhead Atlanta live/work/play development with just over three weeks remaining until the grand opening.

According to Atlanta InTown, construction crews began planting rose beds and trees on the property on Friday, getting the 300,000 sq. ft. project ready for its Sept. 18 christening. The $1 billion project is being overseen by developers OliverMcMillan.

Among the first stores to open their doors on the big day will be luxury brands Canali, Hermès, Scoop NYC, and Warby Parker. Corso Coffee and Shake Shack are among the four restaurants slated to open on the 18th.

A press release from Oliver McMillan states that new stores and restaurants will open every week until the end of the year. Some of the brands that will be open before 2015 include Spanx, American Cut, and Jimmy Choo.
