  1. The Buckhead Council of Neighborhoods will meet on October 13 at 6:45 PM at the Piedmont Center Auditorium at Building 14, 3535 Piedmont Road, NE. There is sufficient parking and easy access to the auditorium for guests. The meeting will be in-person only and attendees are asked to register in advance online. (Free: Buckhead Council)
  2. The North Atlanta High School football team's homecoming game was rescheduled for today and will take place at Henderson Stadium at 7 PM. (Free: Warrior Weekly News)

  • Buckhead-based Italian restaurant, Portofino, will close on October 22 after more than two decades in operation. Mike Anderson, the owner of Portofino, made the announcement via social media. ( The Atlanta Journal Constitution)
