UPDATE: Buckhead Gas Line Ruptures

Atlanta Fire Rescue units have responded to a gas line rupture at 2642 Northside Drive.

Department spokeswoman Janet Ward tells Patch that a 1 1/2 inch line was ruptured, and that no evacuations have been ordered. Atlanta Gas Light is on the way to the scene to assess and repair the damage, Ward says.

Northside Drive is closed between Kingswood and Westover, according to the AFRD Twitter account.
