Buckhead Heavyweights Join PATH400 Fundraising Push
Fundraising for Final $9 Million Needed for 5.2-Mile Greenway Set to Begin

Staff Report
Livable Buckhead, the nonprofit organization spearheading the development of PATH400, announced two prominent Buckhead business leaders will co-chair the organization’s PATH400 Capital Campaign to raise $9M to complete the project. Robin Loudermilk, president and CEO of The Loudermilk Companies, and Tony Conway, founder and CEO of Legendary Events, will lead the effort to raise the funds to complete the planned 5.2-mile greenway through Buckhead.
PATH400 is a planned 12-foot-wide walkable and bikeable greenway extending from Loridans Dr. in North Buckhead and heading southward to connect to a future segment of the Atlanta Beltline at Peachtree Creek, near the Lindbergh MARTA station. PATH400 will form the spine of Buckhead’s greenspace system, linking local and regional parks, cultural, and retail attractions, and providing an outdoor recreation amenity.

“PATH400’s potential impact is incredible, and I am proud to be part of the effort to bring it to fruition,” said Loudermilk. “Buckhead offers the best of many things, and Livable Buckhead has worked with the City, local groups, and employers to create a community asset for the people who work, live, and visit Buckhead. PATH400 is moving Buckhead forward, strengthening our community, and making Buckhead more livable for the next generation of residents and workers.”
PATH400 is a critical link for connectivity within metro Atlanta’s regional trail network. At the south end, it provides the only connection to the BeltLine, Confluence Trail, and the planned Peachtree Greenway along the creek. On the north end of PATH400, the project goes through the 8-acre Mountain Way Common park and will be adjacent to one of Georgia’s oldest cemeteries, located near Loridans Drive.

“I believe that in a decade we will look back and find it hard to imagine Buckhead without PATH400,” said Conway. “It will be more than just an amenity. It will change the way people move in and around this area, and it will open up exciting opportunities for events and exhibits that add an energizing aspect to life in Buckhead.”
“We are incredibly fortunate to have these highly respected members of the Buckhead community co-chair the PATH400 capital campaign,” said Denise Starling, executive director of Livable Buckhead. “Robin and Tony are proven leaders with a strong records of supporting the civic fabric and nonprofit community of Atlanta. We couldn’t be more pleased that they’ve agreed to lend their tremendous talents to this effort.”
