Buckhead Heritage Society to Host History-Themed Scavenger Hunt
Brush up on your Buckhead trivia in preparation for the "Third Annual Buckhead's Hidden Secrets: A History Scavenger Hunt," scheduled May 6.
Brush up on your Buckhead trivia in preparation for the βThird Annual Buckheadβs Hidden Secrets: A History Scavenger Hunt,β scheduled Sunday, May 6, from 4-7:30 p.m. Teams will compete against each other to solve clues and seek out historic locations in either a chauffeured limousine or a private car.
Where is Buckheadβs first skyscraper? Who was Henry Irby? Where was Buckheadβs first hardware store located? Guests will convene at the Atlanta International School for drinks and hors dβoeuvres, receive their clues, and then compete to solve clues and take photos related to the communityβs past. Each successfully resolved riddle will be worth points.
At the end of the Scavenger Hunt, participants will return to the Atlanta International School for barbecue and a fun-filled celebration, where prizes will be awarded to the winners.

Proceeds from this event will benefit the Buckhead Heritage Society and its mission to identify, preserve and promote the communityβs historic resources. Individual tickets are $125 for the limousine ride or $75 if you would like to use your personal vehicle. Tickets can be purchased online at www.BuckheadHeritage.com.
