Buckhead Nonprofit Seeks Donations on Georgia Gives Day

Livable Buckhead is looking to raise $5,000 to continue its work to make the area greener and more accessible to residents and businesses.

A Buckhead-based nonprofit which focuses on improving the area’s quality of life by creating new green spaces and promoting environmentally-friendly initiatives is hoping for a flood of donations on a day meant to recognize the state’s burgeoning nonprofit community.

Livable Buckhead is participating in Georgia Gives Day on Thursday, Nov. 13. The group has set a fundraising goal of $5,000, money which will be used on projects such as the PATH400 Trail and alternate commute options for Buckhead residents.

Donations can be made at Livable Buckhead’s Georgia Gives Day page at any time, but Georgia Gives Day starts on Thursday. If you work for a company which matches employee contributions to nonprofits, you are asked to notify Livable Buckhead through this link.
