Buckhead Public Library Patrons Angry Over Aggressive Booting
People say their cars are being booted even though they aren't leaving library property.

Atlanta, GA -- Castle Parking Solutions is under fire from some Buckhead library patrons who say the company is being too aggressive in its booting policies.
On Wednesday, Charles Huff told Channel 2 Action News that his car was booted even though he never left library premises. The boot was removed after parking attendants figured out that Huff wasn't the person they suspected of leaving the library.
Castle Parking said its booting policies have reduced the number of people who park in the library lot and then visit other businesses nearby.

But some patrons say the company hasn't posted its booting policy clearly enough.
According to the Better Business Bureau, Castle Parking Solutions has more than 100 closed complaints against it. The company, based in Vinings, is not BBB accredited, and has been given an overall grade of "F" because of the number of complaints filed against it, failure to respond to some of the complaints, and some unresolved complaints.

Another patron said she left the library with books in hand and then went to another business a couple of doors away from the library. She returned to find her car booted.
Stephanie Horlock also was booted, receiving a $75 ticket for being gone five minutes, she said.
"If there's nothing here telling us we can't do that, then I just didn't feel like this was right," Horlock said.
