Buckhead Shop Raided, Suspected as Training Ground for Jewel Theft Ring
Smyrna's Abigail Lee Kemp is suspected of honing her skills at the Atlanta business, located on Cheshire Bridge Road.
ATLANTA, GA -- An Atlanta business was raided by law enforcement officials on Monday morning who reportedly suspect the window tinting business of being a training ground for an interstate jewelry theft ring.
Buckhead Window Tinting is located on Cheshire Bridge Road. Police say the owners, Michael and Larry Gilmore, used the business to train a Smyrna woman in how to hold handguns, tie employees up and what merchandise to steal, reports WTOC.
Both Gilmores, as well as Abigail Lee Kemp, are in custody and charged with operating an interstate jewelry theft ring that stole millions of dollars of merchandise over five states.
