Buckhead Student Travels the World to Help Sex Trafficking Victims

The high school student has spent the last two spring breaks in India directly working with girls rescued from the sex trade.

A student at a Buckhead private school is chasing her passion and is making a global impact by working with victims of sex trafficking.

According to Buckhead Reporter, Haley Vincent, a junior at The Westminster Schools, had an epiphany after she read a book about women’s rights and dedicated herself to stopping the menace that is sex trafficking. To that end, she began volunteering with organizations which directly assist those affected by sex trafficking here in the United States.

Setting her sights higher, Vincent decided to spend her last two spring breaks in Kolkata, India, with Peachtree Presbyterian Church. In India, Vincent has worked at two aftercare home for women rescued from the sex trade, and has made a positive difference in the lives of those recovering from their horrific experiences.
