Buckhead Theatre May Soon Have High-Rise Neighbor

A new mixed-use development that would be located on top of the parking lot to the north and immediately adjacent to the Buckhead Theatre is in the works, Buckhead View reports.

Houston-based The Hanover Company will go before the Development Review Committee of Special Public Interest District 9 on Wednesday to discuss their plans to construct 351 apartments and nearly 13,000 sq. ft. of commercial space at the lot, located at 3116 Roswell Road.

During the construction process, the parking lot would be inaccessible, so The Hanover Company has offered to arrange offsite parking for theatre events. Following the completion of the project, the parking lot would be re-opened to Buckhead Theatre patrons.
