Buckhead Woman Mugged While Walking Home After NBA Finals
The attack happened near Peachtree and 25th streets. Police have surveillance footage of the incident.
Atlanta, GA -- Police are searching for a man who attacked a woman as she was walking home from watching the NBA Finals.
The attack happened near 25th and Peachtree streets. The attack left the Buckhead resident with bruises all over her body and staples in the back of her head.
"I'm in pain. I hurt. My body hurts, but I'm not going to add anger on top of that," the victim told Channel 2 Action News.

The woman said she was attacked around 11 p.m. when a man came from behind near a Porta Potty and used a weapon to cut the back of her head and her ear. He then ran off with her purse, leaving her bleeding profusely on the ground.
Passerbys stayed with her until police arrived.
