ATLANTA – Choate Construction Company is gearing up for Cars &’Q for the Cause, continuing its long-standing mission to drive out cystic fibrosis (CF), a genetic lung disorder affecting 40,000 people in the U.S.

On Saturday, October 25, 2025, nearly 1,000 attendees will gather to “fun” raise in the parking of Choate Construction’s headquarters in Sandy Springs and accelerate the tremendous efforts of the Georgia Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF)’s life-saving mission.

The family-friendly car show showcases over 100 prize-winning automobiles, from classic sports cars to muscle, exotic and rare models. Attendees indulge in generous offerings from Jim ‘N Nicks BBQ; pours from local craft breweries, including From the Earth, New Realm, Mutation Brewing and STATS Brewpub; bid in a silent auction; and enjoy live music and friendly car competitions.

According to Brian Bollins, Division Manager for Choate in Atlanta, the car show has become one of the most anticipated fundraisers in Sandy Springs and within the AEC (Architecture, Engineering and Construction) industry since its beginnings in 2009.

"Cars & 'Q has transformed into a cornerstone event for Atlanta and beyond since it began in 2009. It's heartening to witness our community rally around this cause year after year, even without a personal connection to cystic fibrosis, said Bollins, “The camaraderie is palpable as we reconnect with old friends and rally behind our CF Ambassadors.”

Last year alone, Cars & 'Q surpassed their goal by raising a record $724,144, bringing its total contributions to $4.5 million to help CFF fund research for a CF Cure. These funds have led to recent groundbreaking developments in medications that help treat the underlying cause of cystic fibrosis.

“This progress has drastically increased the median predicted survival age of 65 for people born with CF today versus age 13 when Choate’s support began in 1989,” said Vicki Nix, Executive Director of the CFF GA Chapter. “However, not everyone is eligible for these therapies and people with CF continue to face challenging complications. Fundraising continues to fuel ongoing advancements in genetic therapies and gene editing. We’re committed to developing transformative treatment – and ultimately a cure – for all people with cystic fibrosis.”

Each year, Choate employee-owners prioritize their long-time commitment to CFF through internal fundraising, with Cars & 'Q for the Cause as their signature community event. With more than $7.7 million raised over its 35-year history Choate remains one of CFF's leading corporate nationwide.

Cars & 'Q for the Cause will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 3 to 6 pm at 8200 Roberts Drive, Atlanta. Advance tickets are $40 for entry and dinner, and $60 for entry, dinner, and bar access (legal age permitting), and $20 for kids aged 6-12. Children under 6 are free.
