This weekend at Market and The Cathedral of St. Philip, we remember St. Francis by blessing animals — they are all part of God’s creation. We are blessing creation itself, and the animals represent that!
On Saturday, October 3rd at 9:30am, join Rev. Julia Mitchener at the music tent to have your animal blessed. If your animal does not travel well or get along with others, bring a photograph or a stuffed animal to be blessed instead.
And bring your animals to The Cathedral of St. Philip on Sunday, October 4th for the Feast of St. Francis!
Clergy will bless animals in the Cloister Garden during the education hour (10:10–11 a.m.). You are also welcome to bring your animals to the 8:45 a.m. service that day in the Cathedral! CathedralATL.org
