Carjacking Reported at Phipps Plaza

ATLANTA, GA -- Police are looking for a suspect in a car jacking that happened at Phipps Plaza on Sunday.

In a surveillance video released by police, the driver of a Mercedes can be seen getting out of his car when the suspect approached and pointed a gun at him.

The suspect was in a dark SUV that was parked on a nearby curb. Police say the suspect demanded the man drop his wallet and keys. The suspect then only took the keys and drove off in the victim’s vehicle. The SUV, described as a GMC Yukon, then followed behind the stolen car and left the parking lot.

The incident took place near Saks Fifth Avenue.
