Casting Calls Go Out for Movies, TV Shows Being Filmed in Atlanta: Report
These Hollywood productions are on the hunt for new talent in the area.

ATLANTA, GA β Do you want to be a star? Casting has begun for actors and extras to appear in two movies from Marvel Studios that will be filmed in Atlanta, according to a media report.
In addition, casting calls have gone out for TV shows on Netflix, VH1 and the CW that are being filmed locally, reports WXIA-TV 11 Alive.
The two Marvel films are "Black Panther" and "Avengers: Infinity War," both due for release in 2018. The first movie "stars Chadwick Boseman as TβChalla, the new ruler of the technologically advanced kingdom of Wakanda, defending his nation from being torn apart from enemies from both inside and outside," says 11 Alive.

Tammy Smith Casting is looking for people to portray the people of the African Wakanda homeland.
"Avengers: Infinity War" is the sequel to "The Avengers" and "Avengers: Age of Ultron." Central Casting is hiring background actors, stand-ins, photo doubles and featured roles for the upcoming film.

Some details on the three TV shows:
- The casting of actors, models and 1980s cars has begun for the new season of the Netflix sci-fi drama "Stranger Things." Casting directors are looking for male and female actors age 17 and older "with 80s style hair," says 11 Alive.
- VH1βs new series "Daytime Divas" is casting βbeautiful and handsomeβ actors, models and talent to work on the new show for a scene filming in Atlanta. "Daytime Divas" stars Vanessa Williams and centers on a daytime television talk show.
- And a casting agency is looking for βattractive men and male modelsβ to play βhigh-class European vampiresβ for scenes filming in Atlanta for the CW series "The Originals." The series is set in New Orleans and is centered on the worldβs oldest vampire family, the Mikaelsons.
