Celebrate Easter Sunday at Covenant Presbyterian Church on Peachtree Road

Everyone is welcome to the 11 a.m. worship service, Easter morning, March 27.

Buckhead’s Covenant Presbyterian Church (www.covpresatlanta.org) will throw open its doors Sunday, March 27 at 11 a.m. for a joyful Easter celebration. The worship service will be preceded by an Easter Egg hunt for children age 4-elementary school at 10:15 a.m. on the church’s playground. The morning will feature the full compliment of talent from Covenant Presbyterian’s music ministry. Director of Music and Organist Jeffrey McIntyre will be joined by a brass quintet to accompany the service, and the church’s Handbell Choir will provide two selections for the prelude. Both the Children’s Choir and Adult Choir will participate, with the Adult Choir concluding the service by singing the “Hallelujah” Chorus from Handel’s Messiah.

“Holy Week incorporates the full range of emotions associated with Jesus’ final days on earth,” said Interim Pastor Rev. Dr. Richard Hill. "We begin with Palm Sunday, move through Maundy Thursday and Good Friday, and finally arrive at Easter morning, where we celebrate the joy of the resurrection.”
