Chapter Meeting Highlights Trout in the Classroom

The Upper Chattahoochee Chapter of Trout Unlimited honored schools and volunteers who participated in Trout in the Classroom activities.

Carl Riggs, chairman of the Georgia Council of Trout Unlimited, spoke to the Upper Chattahoochee Chapter of Trout Unlimited about Trout in the Classroom activities in TU chapters throughout Georgia. He also discussed plans to expand and enhance Georgia TU's participation in Trout in the Classroom.

Representatives from three of the four schools that participated in the program this year described their experiences, their students' experiences, and the learning that took place raising trout in the classroom. Each teacher received a customized Certificate of Participation and Achievement.
