Common Cause Hires Buckhead Resident as State Executive Director

Brinkley Serkedakis takes over leadership of the Georgia office.

Common Cause, a Washington-based nonprofit watchdog and political advocacy group, has hired Buckhead resident Brinkley Serkedakis as Common Cause Georgia’s new executive director based in Atlanta.

Serkedakis takes over the leadership of the Georgia office and will implement policy, advocacy, communications and fundraising strategies to build support for the Common Cause agenda at the state and national levels.

β€œAfter years of working in public policy, politics, and non-profit advocacy, I’ve seen the challenges facing our democracy from the inside. And like many others who’ve participated in the system, I want to work to change it – it isn’t serving everyday Georgians as it should,” Serkedakis said.
