George Gurdjieff was a philosopher of Russian/Armenian descent who had an amazing ability to remember music he heard during his travels in Asia and the Middle East. Years later, he played the melodies for Russian composer Thomas De Hartmann, and together they created over 200 compositions between 1918 and 1927.
Bert Lams studied classical guitar at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Brussels, Belgium where he graduated with honors in 1984. He has conducted workshops for guitar students around the world, including master classes in Berlin, Paris, Buenos Aires, Santiago de Chile, Los Angeles, Tokyo and Mexico City.
