Cruz Wins 3 States, Sanders Takes 4, Rubio Wins Minnesota
While Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump were Georgia's big winners, the other contenders scored some victories of their own.

Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump won the Democratic and Republican primaries, respectively, in Georgia's delegate-rich Super Tuesday.
Major networks were projecting Clinton and Trump as the winners shortly after polls closed at 7 pm, reflecting the large leads the candidates' enjoyed over their rivals. CNN projected Clinton the winner at 7:01 pm.
Overall, Trump and Clinton both won seven states on Super Tuesday, and strengthened their grip on their respective parties' nominations.

But while Clinton and Trump put together a string of other Super Tuesday victories, U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders won four states, including his home state of Vermont, in his quest to win the Democratic nomination; while U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz won three states, including the night's biggest delegate haul from Texas; and U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio scored his first primary victory with a win in Minnesota.
