Developer Planning Mixed-Use Project Near Buckhead MARTA Station
The development would include a 550,000 sq. ft. office tower, retail space, and residential areas.

An Atlanta-based developer has filed plans with the Atlanta Regional Commission to construct a mixed-use project at a parking lot adjacent to the Buckhead MARTA station which was long envisioned to become part of Capital City Plaza.
According to Atlanta Business Chronicle, Regent Partners will go before a Buckhead Development Review Committee on Wednesday to discuss their plans for the site, which would include a 550,000 sq. ft. office tower, 9,500 sq. ft. of retail space, 300 apartments, and 50 condos.
The parking lot that Regent Partners wishes to redevelop is located on Tower Place Drive, across the street from Tower Walk Park. The lot also abuts the MARTA pedestrian bridge which allows commuters to cross over Ga. 400 to reach the Buckhead MARTA station.
