Dick's Sporting Goods Plans Its Own National Signing Day
The sporting goods retailer is holding a hiring event on Oct. 24 in Buckhead, Kennesaw and Dunwoody.

ATLANTA, GA -- Dick's Sporting Goods will host its own “National Signing Day” on October 24 as part of its holiday season employment effort. The event will be held at several metro Atlanta stores, including at its Buckhead, Perimeter Pointe (Dunwoody) and Kennesaw locations. The company said ideal applicants "will draw on their personal experiences and in-depth knowledge to guide, inform, equip and inspire customers."
The sporting goods retailer said it offers competitive pay, an up-to 25%-off store discount and the opportunity to work with the best sports and outdoor brands.
Interested applicants are encouraged to first apply online at dicks.com/jobs and then visit one one of the stores on National Signing Day to be interviewed and meet the team. The company plans to sign up to 5,000 new teammates nationwide on October 24 as support for the holiday shopping season.
