District 6 Senate Candidates to Speak at Mount Paran-Northside Meeting

Candidates for the District 6 State Senate seat are scheduled to speak at the Mount Paran-Northside Citizens Association's annual meeting tonight.

Incumbent Democratic Sen. Doug Stoner and Republicans , J and will appear at the meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Adams Room of , 4300 Northside Drive, according to an association announcement.

In addition, association President Ann O'Connell, Atlanta City Council District 8 representative Yolanda Adrean and Sandy Springs District 6 City Council member Karen McEnerny will speak.

Along with election of officers and board members, the group will have a discussion of redistricting of Senate District 6, the state House and congressional seats, the announcement said.

Under the new lines drawn by the GOP-dominated State Legislature, Stoner's District 6 now stretches from Smyrna and Vinings through Sandy Springs into Buckhead.
