Don't let her be the one that got away! Adopt Katy Perry!

Adopting is a rewarding experience for everyone, especially the animals. Please consider saving a life today!

Last Friday Night, Katy Perry was struck by a car while crossing the road. Her memory of the incident may be a bit blurred but what’s important here is that the Animal Control officers were the heroes in this story. The officers came to her aid and rushed Katy Perry back to the county shelter where she was given fluids for dehydration and pain medication for a possible leg fracture. Katy Perry was kept under a veterinarian’s care for weeks while she recovered from her injuries. From there, Furkids took over and finally tiny 8-lb. Katy Perry is ready to find her forever home. Katy Perry is fully recovered from her physical injuries, but she remains just a tad bit cautious when meeting new human friends. That’s understandable. We don’t know why she was alone on that dark road or how long she had been wandering. One theory suggests that she may have been thrown from a vehicle rather than struck by one. Her story had a sad beginning but it isn’t going to have a sad ending. Katy Perry is a sweet, loving and playful girl and she will be a fabulous addition to someone’s family. It may take an extra beat for her to warm up to you but give her a chance. Get to know Katy Perry and you’ll agree...she’s a Rock Star!

Since Katy Perry is 3 years old, her adoption fee is $275 unless you have a senior or military ID, then you get an extra 25% off! Furkids adoption fees for all dogs include the following: Bordetella vaccinations, a heartworm test, deworming, microchipping, flea treatment, and spaying or neutering, along with any other necessary medical care prior to adoption. Apply now to meet Katy Perry at Furkids.org or email dogadoptions@furkids.org with questions.
