Drivers Suspected of DUI in Buckhead Wreck Involving Police Cruiser

Two men who are suspected of drunk driving are in custody on Friday following a three-vehicle accident involving an Atlanta police car.

According to 11 Alive, the accident occurred at approximately 3:15 a.m. on Peachtree Road at Peachtree Battle Avenue. The police car was heading south behind a GMC Sierra when a Toyota Corolla pulled out in front of the Sierra and hit it. The Sierra then sideswiped the police car.

Both the driver of the Sierra and the Corolla are behind bars pending DUI tests.

No injuries were reported in the accident.
