Be a Volunteer Math Coach, Assistant, or Driver for a new math education initiative

Are you looking to actively help the state of education in Atlanta? Do you have 2 hours to dedicate to such a cause once or twice a week? Perhaps you would be interested in Neighborhood Mathematica, a local math education initiative serving students in low-cost afterschool programs and schools beginning September 19. After ten weeks of preparation by math coaches, students come together and represent their neighborhoods (or patches!) in a regional competition. We are currently looking for volunteer math coaches, assistants, and drivers to aide in this project.
