On Sunday, March 18th at 5:30pm and again at 8pm, Cartoon Network will air a special documentary on bullying. This documentary was produced as part of CN's Speak Up to Stop Bullying campaign with the Anti Defamation League (ADL). Sutton Middle School is in the third year of an ADL program focused on preventing bullying and several Sutton students (and alums) are featured in the video. This documentary is geared to parents of 4th through 8th graders - watch it with your children and participate in CN's online chat following the premiere!
To continue the discussion, there will be a community forum for parents and students on Tuesday, March 20th at 7pm in the Sutton Middle School Theater. The forum is being hosted by two groups that have been working very hard on the anti-bullying message in our school community: Sutton Middle School's Positive Action Committee (PAC) and the Anti-Defamation League - Southeastern Region (ADL). The event will include a special screening of the documentary and a community discussion with a panel of adult and student experts. This event is open to the whole community. The program will be about 1 1/2 hours.
