Elizabeth Musser: The Sweetest Thing

Elizabeth Musser, author of The Swan House, returns to the Atlanta History Center for the Atlanta launch of her new novel, The Sweetest Thing.  Set in Atlanta during the Great Depression, The Sweetest Thing tells the story of two remarkable young women, opposites in every way, fighting for the same goal: surviving tumultuous change.

Elizabeth Musser, a native of Atlanta now living in France, is a novelist who writes what she calls “entertainment with a soul.”  Her eight novels have been acclaimed in the United States and in Europe and include the bestsellers The Dwelling Place and Words Unspoken.  Musser attended the Westminster Schools in Atlanta and Vanderbilt University.  Musser and her husband have been involved in mission work with International Teams for over twenty years.

This lecture is presented by the Literary Center at Margaret Mitchell House.
