Merrick's Walk

The Galloway School will host the 12th annual Merrick’s Walk in partnership with the Eating Disorders Information Network on Sunday, March 25 as part of EDIN’s Love Your Body Month. The 2.7-mile walk and 5K fun run around Chastain Park honors Merrick Ryan, a 1998 Galloway graduate who lost her battle to anorexia in 2000 at age 19.

All proceeds from the event benefit EDIN, a nonprofit organization dedicated to preventing eating disorders, including anorexia, bulimia, compulsive overeating and other conditions through education, outreach and action.

When: 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 27. Registration begins at noon.

Cost: $25 for adults; $15 for children. All proceeds benefit EDIN.
