The National Black Arts Festival Gala is the largest fundraising event presented by NBAF. Proceeds from the Gala fund NBAF's year-round programming, including film, visual arts, summer festival and performing arts, in addition to education and public programming events.
The 2012 Gala will celebrate A Ruby Evening with tributes to the legendary actress Ruby Dee. Guests will enjoy a gala cocktail reception before the main event, featuring film clips from Ruby Dee’s career. There will be an auction and live music.
