Odyssey of the Mind

To be held in the Intermediate Campus Media Center

The Odyssey of the Mind (OM) program at Sarah Smith is an extra-curricular program open to students in grades 2-5.  Most teams are coached by parents and parent volunteers are needed. 

OM is an international educational program that provides creative problem-solving opportunities for students from kindergarten through college.  Students participate in a team setting.  They apply their creativity to solving problems that range from building mechanical devices to presenting their own interpretation of classics.  These teams bring their solutions to competition on the local, state and world levels.  It's a very popular program.
