Board of Education Representative Nancy Meister is hosting a community meeting tonight at NAHS in the theater. The purpose of this meeting is for the community to express their concerns and ask questions about the proposed redistricting process as it relates to curriculum/instruction, facilities/operations and finance.
Karen Waldon, Deputy Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction; Chuck Burbridge, CFO, and Alvah Hardy, Executive Director of Facilities will be in attendance to answer questions.
Sgn up to speak will begin at 6:00 pm. The sign up will be by neighborhood/school. Speakers will be rotated so that each neighborhood/school has the opportunity to be represented.
Ms. Meister has submitted a list of questions/concerns to the senior cabinet members that will be in attendance from the emails and conversations that she has had. The meeting will begin promptly at 6:30 with opening remarks and an opportunity to hear from the administration.
Community input will begin at 6:50 with each speaker having 2 minutes. Closing remarks will be at 7:55.
