Fay Gold Gallery Closes Tuesday

Fay Gold announced that she would sever ties with the Westside Cultural Arts Center and return to work on her autobiography.

One of the driving forces behind Midtown’s Westside Cultural Arts Center is leaving the facility this week, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Fay Gold announced that her art gallery would be closing on Sept. 16, prematurely cutting short an exhibition by photographers Mike and Doug Starn. The AJC reports that Gold did not say why she was closing her gallery, but quoted Gold as saying that she has succeeded in re-entering the world of art galleries.

Gold added that she would return to consulting and work on completing her autobiography, the AJC said.
