Fight Over Spilled Juice Leaves Buckhead Woman Beaten

A woman was injured during a violent argument in a Buckhead apartment spurred by her son spilling a glass of juice on the floor, according to a police report obtained by the Buckhead Reporter.

According to the report, the woman was inside an apartment in the 2100 block of Peachtree Road with several other people on March 9 when the young man spilled the juice. The suspect got angry at the victim and said she needed to clean up after him. An argument began, during which the suspect allegedly threw the victim’s cell phone on the ground, breaking it.

The police report goes on to say that the man retrieved a broom stick and struck the woman on the hand with it. Once police arrived, the suspect refused to step outside.
