FloatAway Fall Wellness Series
FloatAway Community will host a complimentary wellness series throughout the month of October

The easiest way to combat holiday weight gain is to get outside and move! FloatAway Community will be hosting a month-long complimentary wellness series throughout the month of October. Once a week, participating tenants of the property will offer a complimentary session to encourage Atlantans to look and feel their best this season. Check out the series schedule below:
- Thursday, October 6, 9 - 10:15 a.m., Breathwalkβ Explore the beautiful park trails and changing fall foliage at FloatAway on a Breathwalk class with walking meditation expert Joni Winston. This low-impact fitness method combines synchronizing the walkerβs steps with their breathing and applying a mantra with the movement to achieve fitness and mindfulness goals. Class will begin at the trailhead by the parking lot.
- Monday, October 10, 10 a.m. & 6 p.m., Studio LotusβStudio Lotus instructor Blake Dalton will offer a challenging, yet effective, core strengthening class in Zonolite Park, utilizing cardio ropes, Kettlebells, poles and even body weight to help engage and sculpt the core.
- Monday, October 17, from 6:30 to 8 p.m., The Center for Love and LightβBecome a fully-fledged yogi with two yoga practices offered from The Center for Love & Light. For a whole-body experience, Sonali Sadequee teaches βyoga for conscious connection and communicationβ with the mind and body, specializing in trauma recovery, detoxing and chakra balance
- Thursday, October 20, 9 to 10:30 a.m. The Center for Love and LightβBegin your day with revitalizing βenergy yogaβ taught by Charlotte Ottley. This integrative mind-body healing yoga combines deep stretching exercises, full body tapping, meditative breathing techniques and energy building training to increase flexibility and strength and lessen fatigue.
Monday, October 24, at noon, Precision Performance and Physical TherapyβClosing out the October wellness series, Precision Performance and Physical Therapy will offer a βLegs and Assetsβ class that will totally transform the core, buttocks, and thighs with a toning and strengthening workout. Get ready to sweat!
