Former Aarons Building in Buckhead Being Renovated

ATLANTA, GA — One of Buckhead's iconic office buildings is about to be renovated.

Lincoln Property Company Southeast has been granted the leasing assignment for The Aaron Building, a 100,000-square-foot office property located in Atlanta’s Buckhead submarket.

Lincoln senior vice presidents Michael Howell and Hunter Henritze will oversee leasing for the 80,000-square-foot office portion of the building, while Brittany McCall, senior associate with Vantage Realty Partners, will oversee leasing for the ground-floor retail space.

Development partners Hardman Knox of Knox Properties and Cameron Golden of Redan Group, alongside The Loudermilk Cos., are currently executing renovations and also re-branding the building to The 309, according to data from Yardi Matrix.

The redeveloped 12-story office building will feature exterior and interior upgrades, including Class A office space with 8,000-square-foot floor plates, large windows, a red brick “mercantile” exterior, renovated restrooms and common areas, as well as a ground-floor restaurant and retail.

Redevelopment began in August and is slated for completion in July 2017.
